A bit pricey for what it is but it’s manageable.

The experience at the hotel was quite lovely, with the staff being friendly and helpful, though I was slightly disappointed with the lack of dairy-free cake options at afternoon tea. The beautiful grounds and luxurious room made it a pleasant stay overall.

from the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty! the garden view from our courtyard standard double room was such a nice touch, making us feel like we were far away from the city. the staff was super friendly and helped us with anything we needed. breakfast was delish, like way better than what i expected! The spa facilities were amazin too. we loved the pool and whirlpool.
the only downsides were the loud gardening equipment outside our window in the morning, and the coffee prices were ridiculous! who pays 30 bucks for 4 coffees?

The stunning gardens and elegant interiors were a highlight of our stay. My family enjoyed relaxing in the drawing room, immersed in its historic charm. The exceptional dining experience, especially breakfast, was one of the best we've had as a family.
My kids wished for more family-oriented activities at the hotel.

I had a lovely three-night stay in a beautifully appointed Courtyard Superior Double Room where I enjoyed a fantastic breakfast each morning while chatting with friendly staff. The spa facilities offered a great jacuzzi and relaxing massage options, perfect for unwinding. One minor detail was the slightly creaky floorboards, but it didn’t really affect my enjoyment at all! 😊

The gardens are stunning, with colorful borders and interesting trees that create a lovely atmosphere. The drawing room offers a cozy spot with a fireplace, perfect for relaxing with refreshments.
The room I stayed in had tiny windows that let in very little natural light, making it feel a bit claustrophobic. Limited dining options nearby didn't provide much flexibility for meals, and some of the food served, particularly during breakfast and the evening light bites, felt like they could have used a little more attention. The swimming pool was a touch on the cool side for my liking, which might not bother some but didn't quite hit the mark for me.

The gardens are stunning, and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The period features of the house added to the charm, and the breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options to choose from for the whole family.
My children wanted more fun activities to keep them entertained during our stay.

missingWrote a review on Jul 24beautiful gardensafternoon teafantastic spaawkward shower setup
Had a wonderful time with friends at this charming hotel. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens and indulging in afternoon tea, which was a real treat. Just a heads up, the spa facilities are fantastic and perfect for relaxation.
The shower setup was a bit awkward. the fixed shower head made it hard to avoid getting soaked while turning it on.
